Floor Cushions - Choose your Size & Colour

Make your sensory room more comfortable and inviting with the Floor Cushions, a sensory integration product that suits people of all ages and varying special educational needs. The Floor Cushions are 15cm thick for extra safety and durability (most other suppliers offer 5 or 10cm cushions). They are covered with extremely tough, fire retardant PVC coated fabric. Available in 22 colours.

Our cushions are reversible, so you can choose your colour. As standard we offer Dark Blue on the reverse side, but we can make any combination you wish by contacting us via phone or email.

Floor cushions are made to fit around and fill all the floor space between specific Soft Play structures. The structures and floor cushions are made to a basis module enabling you to interchange pieces and alter the configuration of your soft play room.

If you are interested in a fully matted room or a wonderful Soft Play space, then please contact us here

The Floor Cushions are a sensory integration product that provides soft and tactile stimulation. They are ideal for people with various sensory integration challenges, such as:

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD): People with ASD may have difficulties with sensory processing, which can affect their behaviour, communication and learning(sensoryintegrationeducation.com). The Floor Cushions can provide a calming and cosy sensory stimulation that can reduce anxiety, improve attention and enhance social skills.

• Sensory processing disorder (SPD): People with SPD may have trouble responding appropriately to sensory input, which can affect their motor skills, emotional regulation and daily functioning. The Floor Cushions can offer a comfortable and supportive sensory input that can help them regulate their arousal level, improve their body awareness and coordination, and develop adaptive responses.

• Dementia: People with dementia may experience sensory impairments, such as vision loss, hearing loss or reduced touch sensitivity, which can affect their cognition, mood and quality of life. The Floor Cushions can provide a multisensory stimulation that can enhance their mood, memory and engagement.

All of the materials we use meet or exceed United Kingdom, European (TUV) and ROSPA safety standards for Fire Retardancy and Non-Toxicity.
